I sincerely feel that we have not gained anything from independence. I have observed at least 200 serious problems which were not existing till 60 years back , e.g. terrorism , adulteration , encroachments on public properties , violation of constitution / law by government , shortage of drinking and irrigation water, govt conflict with important constitutional institutions like Supreme court, CAG , CEC.
KINGS were much better than this. They were owning the state. They were willing to sacrify their life for respect , well being and security of their state. They used to be very concerned about common man’s condition. Comapre that with any of CM or PM.
TODAY INDIA IS ONE OF THE MOST BADLY GOVERNED AND MISMANAGED COUNTRY. For economy stability and foreign debts our rating is extremely poor . Its 134th in 140. We are not better than GHANA , Jambia or other West African countries.
