Decentralization of energy and electricity
Every citizen of India will be free to produce electricity without any interference of Government. No Government will have any power to impose any tax on generation of electricity for self purpose or for family purpose or for running industries. The first priority will be given to the individual, village, taluka etc to produce solar energy, wind energy, bio gas energy or energy by using livestock. Wherever there is possibility of installing micro hydro power stations, it will be done by local people without any interference of the Government. Thermal power stations also will be small as far as possible to satisfy the need of the village or cluster of the villages so that transmission of electricity will be minimized and villages will be self reliant in case of energy. There must be encouragement to industries to produce their own powers. Grid electricity should be the last option.

What will be the average cost of producing an unit of electricity under this scheme?
Same with the idea on prohibiting the making of new dams. What will be the average cost of irrigating an acre.
I agree with the view of satya , but look at the matter regarding micro hydel projects , it is such a long process that at every step one has to pay in kind or cash to get clearences from govt deptts , look at the irony , at one side IPP is investing money and at other side their is lot hitches and no single window clearences.
I agree to this whole hearteadly. Right now common masses have to pay bribes to the babus to get the elcricity connections from the grid and penalties for non payment on due date. If end users can create their own energy as per their requirement which is green will definitely help in cutiing another limb of the this demon named corruption.
