Cow smuggling from India
A recent news article describes the thriving business of cow smuggling from India to bangladesh:

A small synopsis:
1. Cow export is illegal in India, yet cows are being openly smuggled.
2. About 15lac cows are smuggled to Bangladesh every year.
3. These cows accounts for 50% of the beef Bangladesh consumes.
4. The worth of these cows is a whopping Rs.2300 crores
5. These cows come from as far as Rajasthan and yet not even a single person is caught.
6. These cows are injected with drugs to make them walk faster.
The benefit one cow provides such as milk, cow dung, cow urine is much more than its smuggle value yet the politicians, army officials on the border, etc are making money out of cows by smuggling them just for the purpose of beef preparation.
On the other side, the media is also not interested in highlighting important issues like these. On one side Indians are getting duplicate/adulterated milk, ghee, butter to eat whereas on the other side the cows are being smuggled to other countries.

Yea cows bhi bhagwan ka roop hai..us mandie mein jo patthar ki pujakarte hai usse accha ki bade bade gaushala banao jisse hamari gai ko rehne ka sahara mile aur tumhare dharam ko bhagwan ka aarshiwad.Please stop making unusual Temples and make house for those cows where those gods really stay inside.
Ya its true and i have just seen it, as my father was in BSF and was posted in kuchbihar dist of west bengal i lived there for one year and also visited the border of bangaladesh, you will be surprised to know that most of the smuggling is possible because indian land is 100 meter after the main wire line border and indians are residing in this area and the actual border is 100 meter away from the wire line where the bsf personal patrolled, one can not even trace the main border and sometimes they easily tras passed the border, most of the local people are below poverty line and thier main bussiness is smuggling not only cows but many other things like vegitable,sugar, clothes are smuglled their.

I live in Cooch Behar Dist. of West Bengal.We see regularly in front of our eyes that every Tues day & Sat day hundreds of cows has been smuggled to Bangladesh through Dinhata Subdivision.We take some steps against them but adminstration did not help us.We try to stop this illegle smuggle of cow, but until the Hindu community will be united against this proccess it will continue. So at first we have to awar our people that Bangladesh earning Foreign money, and we the Indian people are helping them.So we have to protest against this illegle cow smuggling.

Sir the imidiate way is to establish Goushala at suitable places and buy cows from the sellers or if the cows are stray than give them proper shelter with the help of government please suggest some forum or party which can help the cause or suggest what can we do…….

its really shame on allof us , since partition we are listining these type of news of smuggling of our cows , but nothing done , i use to help goushalas man at my place , but they too are imporvished , they ve no land , which can only be provided by the govt concern , i would say every temple under the govt controll and others should be given responsibility of making goushalas , as mandirs are spoiling there money in making prashads , which is littering eveywhere in the temples .The cow is wealth of our nation , the time is not far when we ll be loosing our own breed of cows , whose milk , urune and dung is more pure than other cow breeds of foregien origin and we ll have to make santuary for them as protected specie.
