Baba Ramdev in Jamnagar, Gujrat

On 3rd September 2010 Baba Ramdev visited Jamnagar to address the locals. He gave a motivating speech focusing on the problems Bharat is facing which might lead to huge problems in near future if proper action is not taken quickly.

Problems elaborated by Baba Ramdev:

1. National security – Neighbouring countries are conspiring against us, our borders are not even sealed properly leave alone safety. Internal security is in the worst possible condition – Naxalites and Maoists are eating up the nation from inside. Apart from this the government is a big time failure unable to control these problems and instead pointing fingers are saints and sanyaasis with terms like ‘Bhagua aatankwaad’ – ‘Saffron terrorists’.

Baba Ramdev starts Bharat Nirman yatra from Dwarka

On the auspicious festival of Janmashtami Baba Ramdev started the Swabhiman janjagriti jila yatra (Bharat Nirman Yatra) of Bharat Swabhiman Andolan(Party) from Dwarka. He will be covering 300 districts in the first phase.

Villagers witnessed lectures from Rajiv Dixit on the glorious past of Bharat and how ‘Sanyaasis’ like Swami Dayanand, Guru Teg Bahadur, etc and freedom fighters fought against evli forces of the Britishers, Mughals etc at different times to get freedom. Apart from this Rajiv Dixit also spoke about the massive amounts of black money that belong to our country is being utilized by others outside just because of the widespread corruption. And the amount of black money is more than that of US, UK, or China – a major hurdle in the progress of our nation.

Home made natural dishwasher and cleaning products

Dishwasher:-
Most dish washing soaps are too harsh for the finish and you may end up with damage or stains you can’t remove. Wash these pans by hand with hot, soapy water. Avoid steel wool or abrasive cleaners. It’s also a good idea to avoid air drying, which could cause unsightly spots. Towel dry your cookware after washing. Be careful when handling and storing your pans as copper and brass are relatively soft and can dent easily. A little extra daily care will greatly increase the useful life of your cookware.

Cooking with the Earthen Pot

Cooking food with an earthen pot is gourmet travel, full of colors, tastes and smells.
An earthen pot is a beautiful thing, with round, sweet and solid curves to see, to admire and to feel. A warm invitation to more than satisfy your appetite.

Baked earth (clay) has been used for many centuries. Tough and fragile at the same time, it needs some safety measures.

Bharat Swabhiman Poem

Gita ki kasam tumhe, tumhe kasam Quran ki,
Bible ki hai kasam, tumhe kasam imaan ki.

Desh ki pukaar hai, pukaar hai samaaj ki.
Rashtra dharam ban gayi hai ekta hi aaj ki
Desh ki samridhi mein lagaa do baaji jaan ki.

Desh, bhasha, jatiyon ke beech na vivaad ho,
Har hridya vishaal ho ek samvidhan ho,
Aa gayi kathin ghadi parakh tere imaan ki.

Daav, pecho ne hamare dharam ko jakad liya,
Mook dharam, ho vivash tadap raha bilakh raha
Hato nahi svadharam se kasam tere jabaan ki.

- A poem by Sadashiv Pandey, excerpted from Yog Sandesh magazine, June Issue

The power of Swadeshi

If you have ever tried to convince any educated person about adopting Swadeshi, etc or following the thoughts of BSA you must have faced issues like:

1. Small industries cannot give quality.
2. MNCs have better products
3. No one can match the technology of MNCs
4. SSI’s dont invent/innovate and thats why they cannot survive the competition.
5. Focusing on SSIs, indegenous industries would mean giving extra focus and protection to them which will make them weak to be able to face real world competition.
